The red clay ceramic tradition in our factory came from decades of intensive work. Founded in 1938, initialy we produced solid bricks, whose were used to build the vintage cathedral of sombrio. In these old times, it was not easy to produce the hand made pieces, and the raw material was transported by ox-wagons. In 1972 we started the French roof tiles production, investing on manual pressing machinery. Then in 1975, we have started the paulista profile production. In 1990 we begin to produce the Portuguese roof tiles and this inovation on our range of products became an immediate success. We invested, qualified and improved the tunel kiln, increasing our productioon up to 100% . A few months later, the romana profile started to be produced too. Ceramica bellatelha mantain this continuous improvement on its products quality, assuring the national and the international clients a complete satisfaction in all ways.
